This object is created as a 300 dpi CD design for Legiac - Mings Feaner. (That’s why the shadow is not in the same direction for both Orbs, its mend to be folded) The Orb is first modelled in wax and painted with acrylic. For each image I used a photo from the object to be sure of the right perspective and paint for the basic collars. After that I worked on the pictures in Photoshop. I did make some test renders in Cinema4D to get an idea of the basic reflections on an Orb. In the rest of the artwork for the CD the Orb is dismantled.
